Sound + Vision provides custom Riedel Bolero wireless intercom systems designed specifically for narrative film, television, commercial, and live production workflows. Our systems are configured by seasoned working production professionals with decades of on-set experience in sound and camera departments.
Built By Working Film Professionals
Sound + Vision was founded by a production sound mixer and Steadicam operator with decades of experience on feature films and episodic television productions. After more than 30 years working with traditional walkie systems and modern full-duplex communication workflows, we design Bolero systems specifically for the realities of production.
We understand how directors, camera crews, AD teams, sound departments, and video village actually communicate on set, because we’ve spent our careers there.
SET UP
Sound and Vision will program and set up a Riedel Bolero system specifically for your needs. We have decades of on-set experience in Camera and Sound so we understand the needs of production. Each Bolero belt pack has 7 programable buttons to access 32 different party lines, direct peer-to-peer links, or program audio from the Sound department, reducing the need for Comteks. Wired and bluetooth headsets are included.
CUSTOM CARTS
We provide a custom designed cart with everything you need built in, including telescoping risers for the antennas, chargers for the belt packs and headsets, plus backup battery power to keep the system running if you need to reposition the cart on set. The cart can be adapted to fit onto a Gator or a camera car so you can take the Bolero system with you into more challenging locations.
BOLERO TECH
We are here for you throughout your production to answer questions and for technical support should you need it. In addition to training we can provide you with a tech to set up and run the Bolero system for the duration of your job. We are based in Los Angeles but we have supplied Riedel Bolero systems nationwide.
